Springwood customer wins $20,000 insurance promotion prize

Springwood’s Dustin Goan can now make his home-away-from home dreams a reality after winning a massive $20,000 prize in First Alliance Federal Credit Union Corporation’s latest insurance promotion.

First Alliance Federal Credit Union, in conjunction with Allianz, ran a promotion where customers who took out a new Home and Contents or Landlord insurance policy between January and March 2022 went into the draw to win $20,000 for a home makeover.

Mr Goan took out an Allianz Home and Contents Insurance policy through First Alliance Federal Credit Union’s Springwood branch and was thrilled to find out he was $20,000 better off as a winner of the promotion.

After initially considering using the prize on home renovations, he decided to use the money towards a home on wheels – a caravan.

“I thought about putting the money towards the house, but it was an opportunity to do something I’ve also wanted to do, which is buy a caravan and travel around,” Mr Goan said.

“Winning has given me a chance to do that, and I’m really looking forward to hitting the road in the next couple of months.”

“I refinanced to First Alliance Federal Credit Union a couple of months ago after being recommended by a few people and also took out insurance so everything was covered.

“First Alliance Federal Credit Union has been super easy to deal with compared to other banks. Sam, Glen and the rest of the team at Springwood have been awesome.”

First Alliance Federal Credit Union staff member Glen Evans helped Mr Goan complete his insurance policy and was delighted to hear of the news.
